THREE FOUNDATIONS

Everyone will receive protection, blessing and empowering grace as Mary’s Heel network members

As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. When Moses' hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up--one on one side, one on the other--so that his hands remained steady till sunset. And Joshua overwhelmed Amalek and his people with the sword” Exodus 17:11-13

This biblical insight refers to the physical weaknesses of Moses preventing him from fulfilling his role amongst God's people. Although praying with our hands raised all day may not be an attractive option for us, we all form different parts of the Body of God's people. It was Moses' particular gift to be able to pray powerfully for the people; whereas it was the gift of the soldiers to use their swords well; for others - to heal their wounds; others to prepare supplies etc.  While soldiers used their talents and fought with swords, Moses' talent was to pray continually (his hands raised) for victory but he needed support from his colleagues in order to strengthen him to use his talents powerfully for his family and the people. With the support of his colleagues Moses continued in his prayer (his particular gift) and others used their gifts too, until the final victory was won.

Using this Biblical model for us today, the number one prayer intention for those of us praying within the ‘Mary’s Heel’ network is to pray for each other – for the blessing and protection of all who pray within this network so that we will be also empowered by God's grace, to use our individual talents for the blessing of our families and those around us.

Then … the number two prayer intention is the blessing of the Nation of Wales and its people.

Almighty as God is, His Justice allows Him to act only when we pray and ask Him for things.

The Lord’s Prayer – dictated by Jesus

This prayer asks Our Loving Father for our daily blessings and protection, as well as praying for a future prophesied by Jesus, without evil and sadness, where God’s Kingdom and Will, will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Hallelujah.

The Lord's Prayer as in Matthew 6:9–13:

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.

Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

God is Almighty and Mary is a woman created by God, who is uniquely blessed because of the many graces which God has given to her as the Mother of Jesus. 

We can recognise that 'the heel' which will crush the head of Satan are humble Christians in union with the Blessed Virgin Mary  and Christ her seed  with  Christians as  adopted children( ‘the woman’ of Revelation and Mother of the Church) - being those who in Rev.12:17 "...keep the commandments and have the testimony of Jesus".)

Saint Louis de Montfort (1716) said: (TDM 54)

"Mary’s power over the evil spirits will especially shine forth in the latter times, when Satan will lie in wait for her heel, that is, for her humble servants and her poor children whom she will rouse to fight against him. In the eyes of the world they will be little and poor and, like the heel, lowly in the eyes of all, down-trodden and crushed as is the heel by the other parts of the body. But in compensation for this they will be rich in God’s graces, which will be abundantly bestowed on them by Mary. They will be great and exalted before God in holiness. They will be superior to all creatures by their great zeal and so strongly will they be supported by divine assistance that, in union with Mary, they will crush the head of Satan with their heel, that is, their humility, and bring victory to Jesus Christ.”

God has also arranged for Mary to be given such great power over the evil spirits that, as they have often been forced unwillingly to admit through the lips of possessed persons, they fear one of her pleadings for a soul more than the prayers of all the saints, and one of her threats more than all their other torments.

The Lord’s Prayer is a powerful prayer which is well known. We also rely upon the exorcism prayer dictated by Mary which refers to her special role on behalf of mankind in God's Plan for the defeat of Satan, and the fulfilment of the era promised within the Lord’s Prayer (‘…Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven).  This prayer which the Blessed Mother dictated for us is called: ‘The August Queen Prayer '

For a similar reason, we also take as our inspiration for the name 'Mary's Heel' several biblical references (See the Explaining Mary page). These Scriptures are also confirmed by the apparitions which brought into being, and subsequently confirmed the Miraculous Medal, namely that the Blessed Virgin Mary:-BVM Medals transparent is seen standing on a globe and on the head of the serpent – defeating evil; and also she is seen with rays of light emanating from her hands, symbolising many graces she has been given by God for the world.

When these ‘Medals of the Immaculate Conception’ were produced in 1832, God blessed their message so powerfully that they quickly became known all over the world as ‘The Miraculous Medal’.  7 Million medals were sold within the first 5 years.  

The Church is the Mystical Body of Christ on Earth; and Mary: ‘full of grace’ - is God's masterpiece of grace on earth - the Mother of Jesus – therefore she is the Mother of the Church and all Christians are her children, not only Catholics and Orthodox.
